Critics’ Choice Awards 2025: Time, host, full list of nominees, where to watch and stream

Award season is upon us and up next are the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Held annually since 1996, the Critics’ Choice Awards recognize the finest in cinematic achievement, honoring both films and television. The ceremony is held by the American-Canadian Critics Choice Association.

This year’s leading film nominees are “Conclave” and “Wicked,” each boasting 11 nominations. “Shōgun” leads the television category with six nominations.

This year’s awards ceremony has been rescheduled twice as a result of the California wildfires, but with plans full steam ahead this week, here’s what to know about the 30th annual Critics’ Choice Awards.

When are the Critics’ Choice Awards?

The Critics Choice Awards are at 7 p.m. EST on Friday, Feb. 7. The ceremony is three hours long and held at The Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California.

How to watch Critics’ Choice Awards

The 30th annual Critics’ Choice Awards will be televised on the E! network at 7 p.m. EST on Friday, Feb. 7. The ceremony will be available to stream on Peacock the next day.

Who is hosting the Critics’ Choice Awards?

Chelsea Handler is hosting the 2025 Critics’ Choice Awards for the third year in a row.

The comedian and actress is known as the host of “Chelsea Lately,” which aired on the E! network between 2007-2014. She is also the focus of the Netflix documentary, “Chelsea Does,” which was released in 2016.
